Ławica Airport is located 7 kilometres away from the city centre, by the road connecting the most important locations in the city and the exit road to Berlin and Warsaw. From the airport, you can arrive in the city centre in 15 minutes with a city bus 59 and an express route L connecting the airport and the main train station. The L route bus only stops at Bałtyk and Szpitalna stops. After 11 P.M., a 242 night bus runs to the centre.

All the trains coming to Poznań stop at the Main Train Station Poznań Główny. The train station consists of two buildings: the Main Hall (Hala Główna) and the Western Station (Dworzec Zachodni) connected with an underground tunnel. The station is in the city centre,
One can reach other parts of the city by trams, buses, bikes or on foot. The closest tram station with trams number 12, 14 and 4, 5, 8 is by the exit of the Western Station. At the exit of the Main Hall, stops of city buses 51 and 68, as well as of the express route L to the Ławica Airport are located. At night, night buses stop here, too. In order to reach the tram, you should take the stairs or lift to Most Dworcowy (the Station Bridge). Here, in turn, trams no. 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16 and 18 run.

The Main Bus Station (PKS) is located in the city centre, next to the railway station Poznań Główny. Domestic and international buses arrive at the station. In front of the station, a tram stop (Poznań Main Station) is located with 5, 6, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17 and 18 lines.

You may come to Poznań with the A2 motorway (from the east via Łódź or Warsaw, from the west from the German border), and national roads no. 92 and 5 (east-west direction) or 11 (north-south).
In the city centre, a paid Parking Zone has been established. There is a special parking under Wolności Square, Auto-Park. Parking meters have been installed on the streets for drivers to pay for parking in the zone. The border of the zone is marked by B-39 signs. Tourists are recommended to leave their cars in especially prepared buffer car parks around the Parking Zone.
